EV Alert is being installed and used by Australian and New Zealand Forest Industries. EVCAD transmitters fitted to the logging vehicles give an outward coded signal to activate road-side signed flashing lights to alert general road users of a logging vehicle emerging from a side track. Also the EVCAD can alert truck-to-truck to prevent collisions within the forest tracks.
