The EV Alert system activates the opening of High Speed Doors from pre-set distances and/or to pre-set heights, which would allow improved efficiencies and even cost savings for clients.
In a cool store application a High Speed Door need only open sufficiently for a low height forklift. A forklift fitted with EV Alert can transmit a signal to the door to open only to the height required by that particular fork, therefore reducing temperature loss. This could be used for new or existing systems, with or without ground induction loops.
Additionally EV Alert seeks to reduce the number of collisions, which would mean less down-time for machinery and fewer repair bills (to doors, walls & overhead pipes), all of which means even further cost savings.
